City Tennis was incorporated to provide the San Francisco residents a resource for the public tennis community
The visionary behind City Tennis is John Cervantes. Jonn is the tennis director at San Francisco Bay Club and Lake Merced Golf and Country Club, has been teaching for over 20 years and has been a tennis volunteer for 10 years and was 2002 USTA Volunteer of the Year. He has been involved in nearly every community tennis program in San Francisco including Golden Gate Tennis Club, SF Tennis Advisory Council, Youth Tennis Advantage and SF Junior Tennis League and has also been in many Children and Womens non-profits for over 20 years
